Sales / Business Development
9th sphere is seeking a new Business Development / Sales representative to proactively manage and lead sales initiatives. The ideal candidate has a consultative sales approach and a customer service mind-set to ensure that clients are handled in a timely and professional manner. This position requires an understanding of web technologies, customer service and sales best practices, and the ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming Business Development/Sales inquiries
- Attract & develop new business opportunities both internally & externally
- Generate quotes, presentations, project briefs, & RFP responses based on client requirements
- Inform, educate & consult clients on projects
- Build strong relationships
- Create awareness of 9th sphere web solutions
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree or Community College Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or Business
- Two-three years experience in a sales marketing role at a professional service or marketing agency
- Proven sales success that can be quantified
- Proficiency in closing significant opportunities
- Ability to manage multiple sales engagements concurrently
- Superior writing, editing, and communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with a team
- Above-average attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- High level of maturity and confidence necessary to interact with sophisticated clients
- Customer service mind-set and the ability to explain technician issues to non-savvy clients
- Expert knowledge in programs including (but not limited to); MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Internet savvy with a good understanding of the online market place
- Must have a general web development understanding with knowledge of competing web based technologies
- Vehicle and a valid drivers license
- Must be seeking one year minimum, full-time employment
